1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe, Concourse Judged 998 of 1000!
This may well be the nicest 36 Ford that we have ever had here and offered for sale! This 5 window Coupe was disassembled with 22,000 miles on it and has no welding or patch panels, just original Henry Ford steel. The exterior of this car is finished in a 1936 Ford factory color of Coach Maroon. The interior of this coupe came from the well respected LeBaron Bonney and has been installed beautifully. The restoration was actually completed in June for the Early Ford V8 Club Grand National meet When this car attended that meet it was entered in the Concourse Division and scored a near perfect 998 of 1000 points and earned the Dearborn Award! That pretty much sums up how nice this car is in a nutshell. Some notable things about this car is it has a Columbia 2 speed rear axle with all original controls, the spider hub caps were an accessory, the original flat head 21 stud motor with correct aluminum heads and has been overhauled. In the trunk you'll find a complete set of correct tools, there is a roll down rear window, late production brown face gages as well as late production wood grain dash & window garnish moldings. The speedometer has been rebuilt, original Ford script battery, and it's riding on correct firestone double white wall tires. This car pretty much speaks for itself from top to bottom inside and out so buy with confidence. A copy of the Judging Form is available upon request.
