1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan finished in Light Blue paint. This FoMoCo is powered by the 337 Flathead V8 (single carb setup) with a Hydramatic automatic transmission; Lincoln purchased that transmission from General Motors. Recessed headlights with chrome bezels in nice shape, chrome and brightwork throughout the vehicle in great shape. Paint does show its age in some spots, see the still photos. Riding on white wall bias ply tires, Kingpin is a little loose; make sure you have to know how to drive with those older style tires. Technicians did note that we have had this out and driving on our frontage road, but for longer trips give this the once over first. Rear window wiper equipped vehicle! This 4dr sedan has rear suicide doors with a B-pillar in between. Blue cloth bench seat interior with automatic on the column. The dash has been left stock looking and looks great! Being as this car doesn't have the exaggerated fenders and lack of running boards, this style of vehicle was dubbed the "Pontoon Design". The shifter can be touchy when it is in neutral for starting with the starter on the button on the dash. Running on a 6V system still. Rear fender skirts will come with the vehicle as well!
