This 1955 Nomad is outstanding in every way, as you can see in the photos. The body is razer straight, frame, floor pans, etc are solid. This car is rust free and we have found no evidence of rust anywhere on this car and the paint is very nice, as are the chrome, trim and emblems. The Nomad has a nice stance accented by the American Racing wheels. It’s powered by a strong, smooth running 454 cubic inch engine with headers and flowmaster exhaust. The 700R4 transmission works well and has an automatic torque lock for highway cruising. The interior is beautiful with original style waffle seats, including front buckets with power drivers seat and console. We understand the buckets are from a 1964 Impala, rear seat is original. The rear cargo area includes the more desirable Daytona carpet with stainless trim. A polished stainless tilt Ididit steering column is added, power steering, power assisted front disc brakes, Vintage Air integrated into the original controls, all instruments work including the clock and upgraded original radio which now includes FM.
